Self-employed Edinburgh Air Pollution Manager (£200 per day)

Parents for Future Scotland are recruiting an Air Pollution Project Manager to lead their Active Travel and Clean Air Project across 10 Edinburgh schools.
The role will involve working with schools, parents, local authorities and community partners to:
- Establish and strengthen walking and bike bus initiatives
- Support parents and community members to lead local change
- Develop tailored active travel action plans for schools
- Deliver air pollution awareness activities
- Build sustainable community-led initiatives
- Monitor outcomes and contribute to project reporting
The ideal person for this role will have experience in community project management, community engagement and partnership development, and a passion for clean air, active travel, climate justice and building community power.
Self-employed Glasgow Air Pollution Coordinator (£150 per day)
Glasgow | 3 days/week | £150/day self-employed | October 2026–March 2027

Parents for Future Scotland are recruiting a community-focused Air Pollution Coordinator to support schools and families across Glasgow to increase walking, wheeling and cycling to school.
The role involves working with parents, pupils and schools to:
- establish walking and bike buses
- deliver active travel workshops
- build community leadership and support long-term change
The ideal person for this role will have experience in community engagement, facilitation and building confidence and capacity, with a passion for active travel, climate justice and community-led change.
They particularly welcome applications from people who experience marginalisation or minoritisation, or who are often excluded from decision-making processes.
