An upcoming event in Glasgow will bring together individuals and organisations from across Greater Glasgow to explore the vital role of lived experience and community-based peer support in suicide prevention.

Creating Hope with Peer Support is a free learning and networking session open to anyone interested in how peer support can make a difference for people affected by suicide. The event will provide space to share experiences, connect across sectors, and reflect on what meaningful support looks like — both now and in the future.
The session is co-hosted by:
Scottish Recovery Network
Suicide Prevention Partnership Group
Mental Health Network Greater Glasgow
Insights into the impact of community-based peer support
Opportunities to connect with others working in or affected by suicide prevention
Group discussions around current practice and future improvements
Refreshments will be provided, and a quiet space will be available for attendees who may need a break during the session.
