Companies House | Changes in Fees and Identity Verification

Companies House is introducing a series of changes under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency (ECCT) Act 2023. Here’s a round-up to make sure you’re up to date.

Changes to fees from 1 February 2026
From 1st February 2026, some fees will be changing.

Find the full list of fee changes here.

Identity verification
UK company law now requires all company directors and people with significant control (PSCs) to verify their identity. If you’re both a director and a PSC for one or more companies, you need to link your verified identity to each role you hold.

Find out how to do so here.
