Climate Misinformation | Glasglow Climate Action Hub Network Event

5 Nov 2026

5 November | 10AM - 1:30PM | The Social Hub

The next Glasgow Community Climate Action Network event will focus on climate misinformation and how to address it.

In the age of social media and AI, and with the rise of populist narratives, misinformation is one of the biggest emerging risks to social programmes in our city. It targets disadvantaged people, divides communities and can undermine climate action in a time where it’s never been more important for communities to be united.

During the session, you'll have an opportunity to hear from members how misinformation affects you, what else we can be doing collectively to tackle the issue and how the Hub can support you.
