Join the Movement for a Circular Economy in Glasgow!
Saturday, 25th October | 11AM-5PM
Cemvo Scotland, Govanhill Baths, and Glasgow Climate Action Hub are hosting a hands-on event exploring how individuals and communities can reduce waste and support a circular economy.
Highlights include a clothes mending workshop with Govanhill Baths’ Eva Camille Harrold, a talk on fast fashion and the environment by Siu-Linn Victoria Chung, and a guided tour of Govanhill Baths’ recycling facilities.
The day ends with a Community Organising workshop led by Gill Hatcher from the Scottish Wildlife Trust, offering practical tools to drive environmental change through local action.
This event is part of Govanhill Baths’ Rags to Riches programme and Cemvo Scotland’s Ethnic Minorities Environmental Network.
