Applications close Tuesday, 30 June.
The Bupa Foundation has opened applications for its 2026 Green Community Grants programme, offering grants of between £500 and £2,000 to support projects that improve both community wellbeing and the environment. Delivered in partnership with Groundwork UK, the fund is available to registered charities, not-for-profit organisations, local authorities, social housing providers and non-fee-paying schools across the UK and Ireland.
The programme supports practical projects that create or improve community green spaces, increase biodiversity and encourage healthier lifestyles. Eligible activities could include community gardens, food-growing projects, outdoor learning spaces, tree planting, wildlife habitats and improvements that make green spaces more accessible to local people.
Priority will be given to projects that benefit local communities, improve or create green spaces, and are based in areas experiencing higher levels of deprivation. Glasgow is among the priority locations identified for this year's fund.
