The training will enable participants to be able to promote being breast and chest aware, how to recognise, check, and report new or unusual breast and chest changes to GPs and provide local breast screening information to people in their own wider communities
All participants will receive a comprehensive course workbook, access to additional resources, a dedicated online learning hub and ongoing support following the training. They will also receive a Breast Cancer Now certificate upon completion.
Breast Cancer Now also have a community engagement grant of up to £1,500 that trainees will be eligible to apply for to help them undertake activities to spread the breast awareness messaging throughout their own communities.
