Collecting the right data and evidence to show the impact of your work is one thing, communicating this impact effectively is another. Whether it's preparing statistics for a board meeting, reporting back to a funder or celebrating successes with your stakeholders, impact reporting is all about understanding your audiences and using data to tell your story.
We have partnered up with Upshot to shed light on this area. Upshot is a social enterprise with a mission to help any non-profit organisation to manage, monitor and evidence the amazing work they do in their communities. They provide a range of consultancy services, alongside a simple-to-use online platform for data collection and reporting.
In this 1.5-hour workshop we will introduce:
What Impact Measurement is and the basic principles of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
The key elements of MEL Plans
Data storytelling
Mapping your stakeholders and audiences
How to create impactful reports
There will also be a chance to ask questions and discuss this topic with your peers!
